The challenge was 'Who can build the longest bridge with a given set of Duplo bricks (given to Ruth as a Christmas present, incidentally, not that she got to play with them much during the challenge) which will support two bags of sugar.  Was it Mark who won?  We think this was 1983.

Ruth doesn't seem too put off by this interesting look which Vincent has adopted.
