folk were discussing how the mice are getting into the roof
space. (I wonder if they are using that handy step ladder,

front garden the rosehips added some seasonal colour. |

the copse all those bulbs that were planted are beginning show above

quite wet and slippery by the stream. |

I think
Dad said that that tree in the middle of the picture is one they
named 'straight trunk' many years back. |
| I found
these spindle berries by the entrance to the enclosure. |

There was
a chilly breeze down on the beach. |

just make out the car ferry in the misty distance. (Very
atmospheric!!!) |
